Scott Nagy (final lab project)

Here is my edited video of Scott Nagy's post game information. Here Nagy discusses why his team seems exhausted after playing 4 games in 8 days against some tough D-I opponents. He implies that lacking D-I experience is hurting his team, but they will find that experience in the next couple of years. Nagy seems a little depressed, how could you not be after your team starts its season with a 2-7 record. I don't believe the record really reflects his efforts as a coach though, it is obvious that the men's team was not as ready for the D-I transition as much as the women's team.

What I learned in MCOM 225

Intro to Digital Delivery was probably one of my favorite classes this, not to suck up, it just was. I learned a lot about the internet that I otherwise would have overlooked. I now know what bandwidth means when it is discussed on website forums. I no longer am clueless about things like what an mp3 or mpeg4 really is. Since I am from Iowa, I never really knew much about South Dakota news, but since I actually read the news now, I finally understand a little more about the politics here, and just politics in general. I also learned how to shoot and edit video, which I thought was the best part of the whole class. It is also good to know there are journalism professors out there who still believe in the Hawkeyes, even if Tate and the gang are sucking it up.

Nick Adams interview

Here is my group's interview with Nick Adams, right fielder for the Jacks baseball team. In this interview, Nick speaks about SDSU, playing right field, his MVP award in the New York Summer Baseball League and autographs. Nick seems like a very nice guy and I wish him the best of luck for his future. Big shout out to Lindsay Hagan and Sarah Veum, without them this interview wouldn't have been so awesome.
