Great weekend for sports

What a great weekend to be both a Twins and Hawkeye fan. I got to see the Twins capture a superb series victory over the Detroit Tigers to pull within just two games of the AL central title. Santana pitched a gem this sunday and it seems that the offense has found a some momentum once again. I am also anxious to see Liriano's return to the mound next week against Oakland. I also found yesterday's Iowa-Syracuse game to be a little more than what I had bargained for. Without Tate in the lineup, it almost seemed to be too much to watch at times...(example--Manson throwing four interceptions). The defensive stand in the second overtime was probably the best I've seen for a while, even if it was against a team searching to end a 10 game losing streak. Overall, it was good to see two teams play such dramatic games in such a short span, I only believe it will get better from here on.
