Sad day for baseball

Cory Lidle, a 34 year old pitcher for the New York Yankees died today when his private plane crashed into a 50-story condo in Manhattan. Officials say there was a passenger with Lidle, who is currently unidentified. Over 170 firetrucks fled to the seen with emergency officials, a reaction not too unexpected after the attacks of 9/11. Serveral members within the Yankee organization and Major League Baseball spoke on the event and offered their condolences to Lidle's family. It is a sad day for all of baseball.
